Firm files suit against Pornhub amid user privacy violations

April 19, 2024 - Today firm partners David Given and Nicholas Carlin, together with co-counsel, filed a class action complaint against Aylo Holdings, S.A.R.L. and related entities, who own and operate the pornography website, Pornhub.

The lawsuit alleges that Pornhub gathers user data including gender, age, location, personal device, and browser and operating system information and sells that data to various third parties, in violation of law.

The case was brought in Los Angeles federal court and is pending before District Court Judge Marc C. Scarsi.
